CLIENT SERVICES

Each new client begins the intervention process with an individual assessment as well as an evaluation of the family or social support system available to the client.  Special attention is paid to the nature, progression and severity of the gambling problem and the presence of possible cross addiction or co-occurring problems.  Based on this in-depth assessment an individual treatment plan is formulated for each client who, depending upon required level of care, is referred to one of several programs.  For client convenience, treatment programs are offered at various locations.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PROVIDED

Assessment is considered an ongoing process and treatment plans may be modified as individual needs and level of care change or new information emerges.  If the results of the assessment indicate the need for additional interventions, referrals can be made for medication evaluations or other specialized services.  Typically clients are involved in treatment over a six month period.
