Katherine K. Wilson, Ph.D. is the Program/Clinical Director of the WinWay Center for Gambling Recovery. Dr. Wilson received her Master’s Degree in 1972 from the University of Nevada-Reno and her Ph.D. in 1980 from Arizona State University. She began her mental health career in 1972 as a clinician at a community mental health clinic that served Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City, Nevada. In addition to holding licensure as a Psychologist and certification as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Arizona, Dr. Wilson has been certified as a gambling counselor in Arizona, and she is a Nationally Certified Gambling Counselor and a Nationally Certified Gambling Counselor Supervisor. A pioneer in the research, assessment, and treatment of women gamblers,  she is a lecturer and researcher in the field of problem gambling who has presented various findings at national and international conferences on gambling. In designing treatment programs, Dr. Wilson has incorporated the latest research on problem gambling. She and the staff provide a skilled team strongly committed to facilitating the recovery process for problem gamblers and their family members.
